Hannah Mullen, author of the new novel Experimentals, will hold a book signing event at Mechanicsville’s Books, Beads & More on December 12, 2015.
Mullen, a 13 year old Hanover County resident and student at Stonewall Jackson Middle School, started writing Experimentals at the age of 11 and finished when she was 12. The 172-page book is her first novel, and falls into the popular “Young Adult Fiction” category.
Experimentals follows Macie Anderson, one of a group of children and teens who are adopted by the government and live in a lab, where they are experimented upon daily. While Macie understands her life is different, she doesn’t consider it bad until a new drug is introduced that starts killing the lab residents one by one.
Miss Mullen was recently profiled in an article in the Mechanicsville Local, found online at this link: http://www.richmond.com/
