Adversities are a fact of life for many people. How one handles
\nAdversity, however, can affect the outcome of the situation.
\nIn the new book \u201cWhen Lilacs Bloom\u201d (published by Westbow Press),
\nauthor Nicholas Lanni\u2019s boyhood memories inspire a story of awakened faith
\nand hope in spite of adversity<\/p>\n
Mike and Angel are courageous, despite the impossible situation they encounter.
\nThe couple keeps their faith and love alive, and is able to overcome the obstacles
\nin their way. Despite hard times, they inspire those around them with their enduring
\nfaith and love.<\/p>\n
\u201cProgress without consideration of the consequences can lead to social despair\u201d
\n Lanni says. \u201cOnly compassion for others can lead us away from social despair
\nand closer to the word of God.<\/p>\n
Through his story, Lanni encourages readers not to judge others on appearances or
\nfirst impressions. Everyone has stories to tell, he says, as he reminds readers that
\nsome stories end badly and that life\u2019s circumstances and the choices people make
\nmust be dealt with in faith and love.<\/p>\n
\u201cEveryone faces adversity and these adversities help form each person,\u201d Lanni says.
\n\u201cIt takes courage, love, compassion and faith to overcome the obstacles we face\u201d<\/p>\n
Nicholas Lanni was born in 1953 in Albany, New York. He attended
\nChristian Brothers Academy through High School and continued his education
\nAt Loyola University in Montreal Canada, followed by studies at University at
\nAlbany-Suny. He is a father and grandfather and resides in Rockville Va.
