APPEARANCE BY LOCAL AUTHOR, JOANNE LIGGAN!

Local author, Joanne Liggan, will be at Books, Beads, and More on Saturday, August 17, from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm displaying, discussing, selling and signing her five published works. Books, Beads, and More is located at 8106 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Mechanicsville, VA 23111.

Liggan’s romantic suspense family trilogy includes Heir of Deception, Air of Truth, and Err at Sea. The saga begins with a murder mystery in the 1970’s, continues 30 years later with an espionage thriller in New Mexico involving UFO’s, and ends with a kidnapping from a cruise ship in the year 2030. Not only does this intriguing family experience their share of unique experiences over the 60-year period, but the world around them goes through incredible changes, changes everyone should have seen coming.

Turning from fiction to non-fiction, Liggan is now writing a series of New Testament Bible study guides, two of which have been published thus far. These study guides follow the writers of the New Testament letters through their experiences after Christ’s death and resurrection, giving a comprehensive insight of their purpose in writing the words they wrote. The first of the seven F.A.C.T.S. Bible Study Guides covers the first six letters written: James (written by Jesus’ brother), 1 & 2 Thessalonians, Galatians, and 1 &2 Corinthians. The second continues the journey, revealing more about the writer, Paul, and his objectives in writing the letters of Romans, Colossians, Philemon, Ephesians, and Philippians. Both of these published works will be available at the signing.

Liggan is now working on the third book of the F.A.C.T.S. Bible Study Guides series, which will include the gospels of Luke and Mark.
