Book Signings:
July 10 from 11- 2 – Peter Stipe Book Signing – Peter Stipe is the author of three books. His first book, Finding Our Way, a collection of short stories, was released in 2015. His second book and first novel, The Art of Love, was released in the summer of 2017. In 2019, Remember Me, Peter’s third book was published. This book chronicles Peter’s emotional search for the truth behind his family stories and includes an account of the lives of his great-grandparents in upstate New York and New Jersey during the late 1800s.
Now retired, Peter has enjoyed a long career that has included time in education as well as work in Human Resource Development and Training for a variety of businesses. In addition to his writing, Peter is an accomplished artist, working with photography and in watercolor. He has photographs on display at the On The Hill Gallery in Yorktown, Virginia.
July 17th from 11-2 Nate Daniels Book Signing – This book is for all of the boys and girls who have watched their sports idols score the winning goal or basket and dreamed, “I want to be a professional athlete too!”

July 24th from 11- 2 Donna Turner Book Signing – Planning to take your family to the Outer Banks of North Carolina? Donna Turner of Mechanicsville, VA, has written a historical novel about Old Nags Head. Barbara Markland, editor, and Melanie Conrad, illustrator, are also residents of RVA. Your older children will want to put down the devices and learn about the history of OBX. A Nags Head Wrinkle in Time was written with a touch of fantasy. Two teenagers have time travel adventures in the 1870s. There are activity sheets in the back of the book, including pictures to color and puzzles to solve.

September 18th from 11 – 2 Melissa Seeley Face Book Signing – Melissa Face is the author of I Love You More Than Coffee, an essay collection for parents who love coffee a lot and their kids…a little more. Her essays and articles have appeared in Richmond Family Magazine, Tidewater Family Magazine, Scary Mommy, and twenty-four volumes of Chicken Soup for the Soul. She lives in Prince George and teaches world literature at the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology
September 25th from 11 – 2 – Steven K Smith Book Signing – Steven K. Smith is the author of fifteen books, including The Virginia Mysteries, Brother Wars, and Final Kingdom series for middle-grade readers. His titles have sold over 300,000 copies, and he is a regular speaker at regional industry and literacy events and over 200 elementary and middle schools. Steven lives in Midlothian, Virginia, with his wife, three sons, and a golden retriever.
