When Carolyn McCombs was little, her daddy served in the military and she missed him terribly when he was away.  As an adult, Carolyn saw that same sadness on the faces of her nieces and nephews when their dads were away.   So she wrote Daddy’s Going Away for them and for children everywhere who miss their dads –so they could always feel connected through Heart-Kisses.

Carolyn lives in Mechanicsville, Virginia with her husband, Jim, where they share lots of Heart-Kisses with their four children and their yellow lab, “Champ”.
