Books, Beads & More is pleased to announce that one of Virginia’s authors that will conduct a book signing, October 4, 2014.  Rena Roberts Shipp, a Tappahannock resident and retired educator from Essex County Public Schools, has published three young adult fiction books.  Her latest, CAN’T HURRY LOVE, will be featured.  It is the compelling story of three generations –  mothers and daughters who struggle to find the healing and forgiveness needed to mend their broken family.  A great story of love, and trust while growing up with a substitute support system with which lots of kids today will identify.

A member of Chesapeake Bay Writers, Rena is an advocate for reading and likes to discuss its benefits.

I Did It Nanna’s Way and Carly Finds Out, the first and second in the series, will also be available.
